My experience has been with Infants through College students as an Infant/Toddler teacher, Preschool teacher, Family Child Care provider, Child Care Center Director, ECE Playground Inspector, and Adjunct Early Childhood Education Professor at Northshore CC, Northern Essex CC and Middlesex CC. A former North Shore resident, I now reside in Methuen with my husband and three sons.
Emily Davie - Assistant Director
I am an EEC certified teacher and the Assistant Director at Joyful Noises. I live in Middleton with my husband and our 13 year old son. I have a B.A. in Psychology and French from Bates College, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, specializing in young children. Part of my graduate training and work experience was based at Children’s Hospital, Boston, in their Preschool Function Program. I have lead behavioral groups that focus on building positive self-esteem, and peer socialization skills, as well as assessing toddlers and preschools over all social/emotional/educational development. Prior to Joyful Noises, I was a licensed individual and family therapist in a variety of settings. I also enjoy the outdoors and playing sports, as well as a great love for animals and how they can positively impact children.
