On October 26, we held our annual Spooky Walk! We welcomed 186 children, parents, grandparents and siblings as they "trick or treated" around our playground! The Spooky Walk is one of our annual events run by our Parent Committee. Parents took charge of thematically decorating sections of our playground and collecting treats to hand out. Children started the Walk by going along a path of pumpkins carved and donated by our families. They were greeted at the Playdoh Pavalion, the station created by our teachers who were also dressed up as Playdoh containers. Then, trick or treaters walked to the Witch Den, where they played a game of Witch Hat ring toss. Next, they moved through a Spooky Bat Cave and strolled along the Friendly Ghost Path, collecting treats along the way. The children ended their playground tour in the Pumpkin Patch, with a chance to win a prize at the Poke-a-Pumpkin game. It was a fun-filled night! We loved seeing all the costumes and happy faces! Many thanks to our Parent Committee, volunteers and teachers for coming together to put on this wonderful event!
